MINONK, Ill. -- Once again, Kaitlyn Zelhart spiked the Lady Knights of Blue Ridge over the top.

Meanwhile, the junior varsity team lost to Fieldcrest 25-16, 25-18.

With the win, Blue Ridge's varsity team improves to 17-3 overall and 7-1 in the HOIC. The Lady Knights' next match will be at home on Monday, when they take on St. Thomas More.

FARMER CITY, Ill. -- For those who endured the rainy conditions at the Heart of Illinois Conference Tournament on Tuesday, the following sentences should seem familiar.

LeRoy's Molly Marcum medaled. Amber Tsevelekos finished fourth.

Marcum earned the title of medalist in the Blue Ridge Quad Meet at Woodlawn Country Club with a score of 39. Tsevelekos shot a 46.

However, Marcum's score was not enough to push LeRoy's team score under Prairie Central. Blue Ridge did not have a team score because the Lady Knights did not have enough entrants.
