Blue Ridge Soccer Update -- Friday at the Cornjerker Classic

HOOPESTON, Ill. -- According to the Danville Commercial-News, the Knights ended a Friday game at the Hoopeston Cornjerker Classic in a 0-0 tie with Hoopeston Area.

Josh Plunk made two saves in that match for Blue Ridge. The Cornjerkers' Ben Brumett had four saves.

Earlier that day, Blue Ridge ended in a scoreless tie against Olympia as well. The Spartans' Dean Nafziger recorded six saves while Plunk saved three shots.

If Blue Ridge coaches/statisticians would like to report scores or stats to the Sports Thread, they can do so via e-mail to APRosten@AOL.com or via phone call, voicemail or text message at (217) 412-3697. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
