ATLANTA, Ill. -- Mason Potts shot a 43 to medal at Atlanta's North Greens Golf Course and lead Blue Ridge to a 181-193 victory over Olympia.
C.J. Bishop scored a 45 to tie the Spartans' Ben Litwiller for second place among individual golfers.
Also contributing to the Knights' final score were Austin Maxwell and Will Duggins. Maxwell finished in fourth place among individual golfers with a score of 46 while Duggins tied for fifth along with Olympia's Kent Grober by shooting a 47.
Dylan Weidner and Jacob Strutner scored 51 and 59, respectively. Neither score contributed to Blue Ridge's final score.
For the Spartans, Jarek Millburg and Taylor Peek got on the scoreboard along with Litwiller and Grober. Millburg shot a 50 while Peek scored a 51.
The Knights will travel to Heyworth on Thursday for an outing against the Hornets at 3:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge's junior varsity team beat Olympia 116-123. Curtis Ghent and Tucker Johnson shot a 54 and a 62, respectively.
