FARMER CITY, Ill. -- Despite making 18-of-29 free throws and outscoring the Bunnies 25-17 in the second half, the Lady Knights move back to .500 with a home loss.
Fisher ended the first half with a 31-19 lead, scoring 16 points and yielding six in the second quarter. Blue Ridge came back by outscoring the Bunnies by four points in the third and fourth quarters each.
Melinda Wilson led Blue Ridge with 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting. Jamison Brandt also scored in double figures with 12 points, shooting 4-of-15 from the field.
As a team, the Lady Knights' field-goal percentage was 23% at 12-of-53 shooting.
Jacquelyn O'Neal scored seven points. She also grabbed eight rebounds and blocked six shots to increase her season total to 28 blocked shots.
Korrie Gilbert contributed eight points while Bailey Clancy had one point.
With the loss, the Lady Knights fall to 5-5 overall and 2-2 in the Heart of Illinois Conference. They will travel to Clinton on Saturday to face the Lady Maroons.
The junior varsity teams will tip off at 11 a.m., and the varsity game will start afterwards.
