The IHSA's Web site recently launched regional assignments for this year's boys and girls basketball postseasons.
Blue Ridge's boys and girls basketball teams will play in the Class 1A state tournaments. The schedules and brackets will not be announced until at least late January.
The boys basketball team will play in the LeRoy Regional along with the following teams: Bloomington Cornerstone Christian Academy, Ridgeview, LeRoy, Lexington and Normal Calvary Christian Academy.
The winner of that regional will advance to the Colfax Ridgeview Sectional, the winner of which will move on to the Normal ISU Super-Sectional.
The state final tournament will be played at the Civic Center in Peoria.
The girls basketball team has been placed in the Fisher Regional along with the following teams: Buckley Christ Lutheran, DeLand-Weldon, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, Fisher and LeRoy.
The winner of that regional will advance to the Colfax Ridgeview Sectional, the winner of which will move on to the Bloomington IWU Super-Sectional.
The state final tournament will be played at Redbird Arena in Normal.
