GIBSON CITY, Ill. -- The Blue Devils outscored the Knights 28-5 en route to a blowout victory in the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Thanksgiving Tournament.
Blue Ridge (0-3) will look to salvage a seventh-place finish from the GCMS Thanksgiving Tournament today, facing the Falcons at 2 p.m.
Bismarck-Henning scored 17, 21 and eight points in the second, third and fourth quarter, respectively, whereas the Knights scored seven, 14 and two points.
Jon Jones and Tucker Johnson each scored eight points to lead Blue Ridge. Six of Jones' points were scored via two 3-pointers while Johnson converted on 6-of-8 free-throw attempts.
As a team, the Knights scored half of its points by sinking 14-of-19 free-throw attempts. Clint O'Neal scored all four of his points via free throws.
Travys Nichols scored four points as well while Michael Plunk and C.J. Bishop each contributed two points.
