HEYWORTH, Ill. -- The Knights' soccer season got off to a dominating start Tuesday as Jonathan Malone scored four goals to lead Blue Ridge to a 6-0 victory over the Hornets.
Conner Builta contributed to the dominating victory by scoring a goal and recording two assists.

Jon Jones also tallied a goal and an assist for the Knights. Dylan Grammer was also credited with an assist.
Goalie Josh Plunk recorded three saves.
Blue Ridge's next match will be at home on Thursday. The Knights will face Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m.
Boys Golf
Blue Ridge's boys golf team's outing at Ridgeview was cancelled.
The Knights will participate in the Blue Ridge Tri at Woodlawn Country Club against Lexington and Fisher on September 1 at 4 p.m.
