GIBSON CITY, Ill. -- It was a busy day for Blue Ridge golf coach Lynn Hawkins.
As well as coaching the Knights' boys and girls golf teams, Hawkins also serves as the president of Blue Ridge School District 18's union workers, who reached a tentative agreement with the district.

Then he saw his boy and girl girls battle LeRoy and Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley on the golf course.
The boys team won with a score of 178. Mason Potts and Austin Maxwell shot 41 and 42, respectively, to earn first and second place among individual golfers.
