Blue Ridge Boys Basketball 56, Ridgeview 51

COLFAX, Ill. -- The Knights pulled off a come-from-behind victory in the Heart of Illinois Conference.

Ridgeview outscored Blue Ridge 18-12 in the first quarter and 12-6 in the second to take a 30-18 halftime lead. The Knights, however, came back with a 24-13 third quarter to cut their deficit to 43-42.

Blue Ridge pulled ahead 14-8 to seal the comeback win.

Tucker Johnson led the Knights with a game-high 24 points. Michael Plunk scored in double figures as well with 14 points.

Travys Nichols finished the game with six points and five rebounds. Will Duggins contributed five points while Clint O'Neal tallied four points.

Mark Plunk and Jon Jones finished the game with two points and one point, respectively.

With the win, Blue Ridge improves to a record of 8-17 overall and 4-7 in the HOIC. The Knights will play in their home finale on Tuesday, facing St. Thomas More.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge's junior varsity team beat Ridgeview 52-45.
